Welcome to Howlite Apothecary

Welcome to Howlite Apothecary

Greetings!

Allow me to introduce myself - my name is Sarah :)

As every work meeting or club get-together taught me, I shall share a fun-fact with you:

In 2017, while playing The Sims, I decided to open up a store in the game. I was faced with a new question: what would I name a business if I actually started one? I ended up with Howlite Apothecary. It was a nod to white howlite, my favorite crystal, as well as my love for traditional herbal healers. Fast forward to August 2022, and I'm starting up a real business. There was no question what it would be called, as I'd already chosen the perfect name. It's always a beautiful moment when you realize the seeds you'd planted long ago are now blooming right before your eyes.

Embarking on this new adventure is, I must admit, a wildly unfamiliar challenge. However, no great change comes without expanding your horizons. I have always been enamored with nature and continually found myself returning to working with it one-on-one in various ways. I am overjoyed to be able to integrate my passion for perfumery and oils in a way that I can share with everyone!

When I was young, finding natural fragrances that I loved were always special moments. That journey will continue through my entire life, and I'm honored to be part of your journey as well. Something extremely important to me, is that every perfume I offer could be worn by anyone. I was often offered floral perfumes when shopping or sampling fragrances, yet I personally prefer more woody/musky scents, this was no doubt because of the way I look. I never want to gender perfumes, nor dissuade someone from trying out a fragrance because of how they choose to present themselves to the world. My goal is to one day offer unique fragrances to accommodate for and celebrate all of the beautiful diversity in this world.

Thank you for your involvement in this lovely dream of mine, I look forward to sharing educational and developmental information in future blog posts!
